Al-Shams.1: By the sun and its brightness.
Al-Shams.2: By the moon when it follows it.
Al-Najm.1: By the star when it goes down.
Al-Dhariyat.7: By the heaven full of paths.
Al-Tariq.11: By the sky with its returning rain.
Al-Fajr.1: By the dawn.
Al-Lail.1: By the night as it envelops.
Al-Inshiqaq.17: By the night and what it envelops.
Al-Duha.1: By the morning brightness.
Al-Lail.1-2: By the night as it envelops, and by the day as it appears in brightness.
Al-Dhariyat.1: By those that scatter dust.
Al-Mursalat.1-2: By those sent forth in succession, the winds blowing violently.
Al-Dhariyat.2: By those that bear the burden of rain.
Al-Shams.6: By the earth and Him Who spread it.
Al-Tariq.12: By the earth which splits.
At-Tur.1: By the Mount.
Al-Asr.1: By the time.
Al-Fajr.2: By the ten nights.
Al-Shams.7: By the soul and Him Who proportioned it.
Al-Qiyamah.1-2: I swear by the Day of Resurrection, and I swear by the self-reproaching soul.
Al-Balad.1: I swear by this city.
Al-Tin.1: By the fig and the olive.
Al-Qalam.1: By the pen and what they write.
Al-Balad.3: By the begetter and what he begot.
Al-Naziat.1-5: By those who pull out, by those who glide gently, by those who swim along, by those who race ahead, by those who arrange affairs.
As-Saffat.1-3: By those lined up in ranks, by those who drive the clouds, by those who recite the reminder.
Yasin.2: By the wise Qur’an.
Qaf.1: By the glorious Qur’an.
Al-Inshiqaq.18: By the moon when it becomes full.
Al-Hijr.72: By your life, indeed they were, in their intoxication, wandering blindly.
